Evaluation and Learning

Systematic evaluation is an essential part of how we develop and improve our programmes for children and young people.

Systematic evaluation

We carry out systematic evaluations of Madlejr® – Food Camp and Food Workshops. After each programme, participating students and teachers complete an online questionnaire about their learning outcomes, wellbeing, and overall experience.

The purpose is to gather continuous feedback on our practice, enabling us to refine and improve our learning activities over time.

Why evaluation matters

Evaluation is an essential part of the way we work. By systematically collecting knowledge from children, teachers, partners, and our own practice, we continuously improve our learning activities and strengthen their impact.

We continuously evaluate our programmes to understand what works, why it works, and how we can make an even greater difference for children and young people.

Our evaluations help us:

  • improve programmes
  • understand children’s experiences
  • strengthen partnerships
  • inform future development
