Children’s Voice

Children and young people are at the heart of everything we do. As the primary audience for our activities and initiatives, their experiences, ideas, and feedback play an important role in shaping and improving our work.

Their perspectives help us develop activities, test recipes, evaluate learning experiences, and better understand everyday food habits.

Children’s voices are gathered in different ways, including through a dedicated children’s panel, surveys, workshops, and activities.

“At school, we do lots of interesting projects, but they’re often just for practice. I wanted to be part of the Children’s Panel because it gives me the opportunity to make a real difference.”

How children's voices contribute:

  • The annual Children, Youth and Food Report
  • Develop new activities and food experiences
  • Improving existing activities
  • Testing recipes and food ideas
  • Children’s Panel
  • Sharing stories and experiences from everyday life
